Langley Anchor Project

A Community-Based Youth Stabilization Hub

The Langley Anchor Project is currently in development.

This initiative is designed to create a safe, low-barrier drop-in space for youth experiencing instability in Langley. It will provide a place to pause, connect, and access support before situations escalate into crisis.

Why This Matters

Youth in our community are facing increasing challenges, including housing instability, mental health strain, and disconnection from support systems.

Many fall between services — not yet in crisis, but without the structure and support needed to stay stable.

Early intervention changes outcomes.

What We Are Building

The Langley Anchor is a community-based stabilization hub that will provide:

• A safe, welcoming drop-in space
• Immediate emotional and situational support
• Connection to resources and guidance
• Pathways into mentorship and long-term support

This is not a shelter.

It is a place to land, reset, and begin again.

Current Phase

We are currently focused on:

• Community engagement
• Partnership development
• Funding alignment
• Site planning and operational setup

This phase is critical to ensuring the project is built safely, sustainably, and in alignment with community needs.

Community Impact

The Langley Anchor Project is designed to:

• Support youth before crisis escalates
• Reduce pressure on emergency and public systems
• Strengthen community safety and stability
• Create pathways toward long-term wellbeing

Get Involved

We are currently connecting with:

• Community partners
• Local businesses
• Service organizations
• Individuals aligned with youth support and prevention

If you feel aligned with this work, we welcome connection.
